Ty’ Shaja Renee Lastrape, A.K.A. Ty’ Babyy, is an up-and-coming hip-hop/rap artist based out of Houston, Texas. The daughter of the popular musician Tink, Ty’ Babyy has inherited her father’s passion for music and his creative, unique sound. Mixing together her own distinct style of hip-hop, Ty’ Babyy is one of the hottest new names in the industry.
After stepping into her father’s music studio at ten years old, Ty’ Babyy immediately knew that she was destined for a life in the music industry. Like her father Tink, Ty’ Babyy has become recognized throughout the music industry for her dedication and one of a kind hustle. Inspired by artists like Nicki Minaj and Lil Baby, Ty’ Babyy writes tracks that stay true to the grind and spits lyrics that are inspired by real life. Ty’ Babyy goes harder than anybody, pouring a ton of energy and creativity into every track and giving her music a no-nonsense feel that is truly unique.
Signed to the independent label Area 57 Music Group, Ty’ Babyy has already dished out some iconic original tracks. She has also been featured in collaborations with artists like Jhonni Blazed and Damani. Currently working on her upcoming EP Goat Status, Ty’ Babyy aims to claim the throne at the top of the hip-hop music scene within the next few years. She isn’t afraid to go toe to toe against any male or female rapper in the industry and won’t let anything get in her way as she accomplishes this goal. Ty’ Babyy carries this mentality beyond her music, and dreams of becoming a restaurant entrepreneur and investor.
